Foster Learning LLC was founded by two Southern Illinois University Edwardsville physics professors with a passion for effective teaching and an aptitude for technology.
Dr. Tom Foster has been a dedicated instructor and world renowned Physics Education Researcher (PER) for over twenty years with a focus on human problem solving.
Dr. Edward Ackad is a theoretical/computational atomic molecular and optical (AMO) physicist and biophysicist who started teaching physics five years ago and was underwhelmed by existing educational software. Having a strong background in software and with his recent introduction to PER, he envisioned software that better meets the needs of professors and students.
